Child Care Aware of Washington Coaching Certificate Scholarship

CCA of WA is pleased to support Early Achievers coaches and coach leads enrolled in the University of Washington's Certificate in Practice-Based Coaching program.

Two scholars at graduationChild Care Aware of Washington Scholarships is pleased to offer scholarships to Early Achievers coaches and lead staff enrolled in the University of Washington Certificate in Practice-Based Coaching program. The Child Care Aware of WA Coaching Certificate Scholarship provides tuition and fee support, as well as book and travel reimbursement. The scholarship covers the cost of this nine-credit certificate program for one year. Please note: submitting an application does not guarantee funding. Scholarships are awarded based upon funding availability.

Scholarship Benefits

  • Tuition and Fees - Up to $3,600 per scholarship
  • Books - Up to $500 per scholarship
  • Travel Reimbursement - Available (restrictions apply)

Scholars traveling 50 miles or more can be reimbursed for travel and hotel expenses.

Eligibility

To be eligible to apply for this scholarship, you must:

  • Be employed as an Early Achievers coach or coaching lead
  • Receive recommendation from your supervisor
  • Have applied for the UW Certificate in Practice-Based Coaching program

Scholars can apply prior to being accepted into the UW Certificate in Practice-Based Coaching program, however award of the scholarship is contingent upon acceptance into the program. Verification of award must be provided prior to funds being dispersed.

Scholar Responsibilities

As a scholarship recipient of the Child Care Aware of WA Coaching Certificate Scholarship, scholars must:

  • Enroll in courses the first quarter of the scholarship
  • Remain with current employer for a minimum of six months after completion of one-year scholarship contract
  • Successfully complete the program within the dates of the scholarship

 

How to Apply

The deadline for the fall quarter cohort has passed. Applications are currently in review.

CCA of WA Scholarships will review and prioritize previously submitted and complete applications. Submitting an application does not guarantee a scholarship award. All scholarship awards are based on the amount of funding available at the time of application review and acceptance into the UW Certificate in Practice-Based Coaching program. Award notification will be sent via email.
